If the Managers sales pitch is to insult and criticise someone hoping they will will sign up then he needs to consider not managing a business.
At 57 years of age and with injuries, to be told by by this person "You need to join before you have a heart attack, take a look at yourself" and "you've really let yourself go" Its about as rude and insulting as it gets.
